The SSI has a long tradition of a single question contest that challenges the wit of the participants. The contributions are collected by paper entries where you can write and draw. This year's contest wuestion:
Can any precision measurement clearly & unambiguously exclude the Standard Model ? Give an example & explain (Not, e.g., dark matter)
It is limited to a few paragraphs. Enter your entry in the pink question box outside the Kavli Auditorium before 6pm on Thursday Aug/15. Winner will be announced on Friday morning (Aug/16). Some introduction and a winning example can be seen from e.g. the 2012 SSI contest.
The contest result was announced at the final session, with Bredon Bullard SLAC) as Runner up and Dylan van Amemen (NIKHEF) as Winner who received the prize of a copy of the book: "Grace in All Simplicity" by Bob Cahn and Chris Quigg, signed by both authors.
