We recognize the travel cost is significant for a two-weeks long conference in the Silicon Valley, and it is difficult for many of us to attend the SLAC Summer Institute in-person.
To this extent, we are thankful for the Data-Intensive Discovery Accelerated by Computational Techniques for Science (DIDACTS) organization for providing financial support for under-represented group of participants. DIDACTS collaboration is supported by the National Science Foundation and leads research studies to maximize the impact of machine learning techniques for physics research.
