This Workshop will be a Public Event; and the meetings will be held in General Access Areas.  No discussions of Sensitive Subjects shall occur at this meeting. All information shared at this meeting shall be intended for release in the Public Domain.

It is crucially important that where applicable, participants work with their home institutions to certify compliance with United States Export Control Regulations, so that this workshop may be conducted under the principle of freedom of access by all interested parties to the underlying data, to the processes and to the final results of research. Prior to the Workshop, SOC members will follow up with individual presenters/participants to verify that such discussion has occurred, if applicable. Definitions: 
General Access Area. A type of security area established to allow access to certain areas with minimum security requirements as determined by the cognizant security authority. These designated areas are accessible to all personnel including the public.

Public Event. Public events are those that include only information that is not protected by statute, regulation, or DOE policy, and is determined to be releasable to the general public, are held in locations that are accessible to the general public and are available for attendance by the general public.

Sensitive Subjects. Unclassified subjects and topics identified as

(i) Subject to Federal regulations governing export control,

(ii) Research areas determined to be restricted (Red) in the current S&T Risk Matrix, and/or

(iii) Critical Energy Infrastructure Information (CEII), Unclassified Controlled Nuclear Information (UCNI), or Information Systems Vulnerability Information within the Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) Registry.
