Here are 2 signup sheets for managing:
- 3 tour groups to travel to IR2 to for a brief tour led by Aaron Roodman;
- ride-sharing to Trellis Restaurant in Menlo Park.
Please look through both sheets. If interested in a tour, write your name and email address under tour "A", "B", or "C".
Because space is limited in the IR2 high bay, we need to limit tour group size. This is why there are 3 tours and not a single tour. Weather permitting, we encourage you to walk back leisurely after the first tour (A) or toward IR2 (C) with your assigned guide. It is important that the tour stay together while on SLAC campus, so stay with your guide unless you have been dropped of at Redwood meeting rooms or near the front gate (SUSB). Thank you!
The second signup is for local transport to our Conference Dinner. Local attendees (or visiting attendees who have rented a car) are encouraged to sign up as drivers and list how many spare seats you have to offer. (Thanks in advance!) Otherwise, please plan to arrive by hiring an appropriate Taxi App (e.g. Uber or Lyft). The venue should be open at 18:00 on Wednesday, March 12 to receive our group. We have nominally blocked of 90 minutes for dinner. We can see when they will kick us out.
Trellis is located at 1077 El Camino Real, Menlo Park, 94025. It is 11 minutes by car from SLAC.
