Paper Draft & Discussion with ILD reviewers 30m

      Update paper sent to ILD:

      https://agenda.linearcollider.org/event/9619/

Speakers: Valentina Cairo (SLAC), Matthew Basso (University of Toronto)
      • By the 15th:
        • rescale the luminosity such that we only look at the LR slice of the 0.45*(2 ab-1) scenario (pick up factor of 0.45*0.585)
        • Add reference for the 0.45 factor of the LR scenario (should be in the ILC white paper)
        • Clarify in the text where the ZZ fusion 1.5 SF comes from and why we have no WW samples
        • Potentially add the plots of the sum of the momentum of the strange particles in the leading and subleasing jet (they are correlated in H->ss and could even be a good variable to cut on)
        • Clarify that we only fit 2 bins, consider moving the PDF description to auxiliary material. Explain that the fitting approach is general and would allow in the future to fit the shape of a signal discriminant and not only the bins.
      •
      • To update the paper after the 15th:
        • Ask for additional polarisation samples (signal and backgrounds)
        • WW fusion samples: try to get also WW fusion samples
    • 11:00 11:15
