Oral Presentation Information
If you will be giving an oral presentation, please use the following as a guideline.
Unless otherwise specified, oral presentations will be spaced by 25 minutes (i.e. 20m talk + 5m questions). We will need to stick to schedule, so please keep these times in mind.
We plan to load your (digital) presentations off of the INDICO website, so we require that you upload your file, in the format of your choice, as Presentation Material. This will allow us to rapidly switch to your presentation after the previous presenter has finished, and will also permit other attendees to follow along with your slides on their own laptops/phones before, after or during your presentation.
To upload your presentation slides:
Find the upload link by going to the Contribution List (or "my contributions") on the left hand menu list, locate/find your contribution, and click on the presentation materials edit link toward the bottom of the page to upload files.
Paper formatting
If you submit a paper, please use the following as a guideline.
We use the Joint Accelerator Conferences Website standardshttps://www.jacow.org/Authors/HomePage
Poster Session Information
If you will be presenting a poster, please use the following as a guideline.
Posters will be presented during the poster session (Thursday morning) and should be taken down by the end of day Thursday. The posters will be available for viewing a short distance from the meeting room, Thursdays coffee breaks will be held there.
Poster size:
We will use portable dividers that are 6' (180cm) tall and 13' (3950cm) wide to hold 3 posters on each side. Poster sizes are therefore flexible. If divided 3 ways, each poster could use up to 52" (132cm) horizontal space. Vertical height size limits are similarly relaxed.
Your poster:
You are requested to bring a paper/hardcopy of your poster with you to pin up to the display board. In addition, please provide a digital copy of your work that others can access through the IWAA2024 indico site. You can find this upload link by going to the Contribution List (or "my contributions")
