Description

In this talk, I will present some recent progress on some classes of heavy hadron decays. I will present a comprehensive study of radiative semileptonic b-hadron decays, semileptonic decays accompanied by an additional photon in the final state. Modeling these decays is important for current and future B-factories, as they constitute an unavoidable background for ordinary semileptonic decays when the photon goes undetected. Time permitting, I will also discuss charmless B decays to light pseudo-scalar mesons and how these can be used to test the size of U-spin breaking.
