Site Access Instructions
As a Department of Energy (DOE) facility, SLAC must comply with the Unclassified Foreign Visits and Assignments program outlined in DOE Order 142.3A. Please follow these step-by-step instructions to submit your form and upload all required documentation. Your form will undergo an approval process, and you will receive a confirmation email once it has been approved.

Onsite Arrival Instructions:

Security Check-In: Please arrive at the SLAC Main Gate located at 2575 Sand Hill Rd for security check-in. Inform the security personnel that you are attending a workshop. You must present a Real ID or passport to gain entry to SLAC.

Staying at Stanford Guest House: If you are staying at the Stanford Guest House, notify security upon your arrival. They will grant you access to proceed to the Guest House, where on-site parking is available.

Parking: If you are not lodging at the Stanford Guest House, you may park in any available space on SLAC premises.

Ride-Share Services: If you are using a ride-share service, the driver will be directed by security to drop you off at B53 SUSB.

ADA Accommodations: If you require any ADA accommodations, please inform us in advance.
Stanford Guest House
Launch the Stanford Guest House booking website.
The room block code to reserve at the Guest House is LCLSEXAMPLE (with no spaces).
Alternate Lodging Options
If the Stanford Guest House is fully booked, please book lodging that is within the San Mateo County ($183) per diem rate.
