Speakers: Dylan Rankin (MIT), Kaito Sugizaki (University of Pennsylvania), Max Cohen (University of Pennsylvania)

Max and I checked the input object differences between Athena HLT vs offline score calculations (with a few recorded events) to figure out the score discrepancies
The input objects were slightly different for jets, photons, and muons, but the output score should roughly be similar (as we've already seen). Not sure if this could explain the AD triggered events with low offline HLTAD scores

      • Jets: somewhat different, can't seem to find the container with same values in AOD...?
      • Electrons: same values, should be using the correct container in AOD (0e25_nopid required in chain)
      • Photons: same values but some photons only appear offline (e.g. really high-pT photons) -> might be due to loose ID applied in the Athena HLT (0g25_loose required in the AD chain)
      • Muons: slightly different values, but found the correct container in AOD
      • MET: same, should be using the correct container in AOD
