DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Brendan O'Shea (SLAC)\n\n\n \nFACET-II is a Nationa
 l User Facility at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory that provides the 
 Department of Energy with unique capabilities to develop advanced accelera
 tion and coherent radiation techniques with high-energy high-intensity ele
 ctron beams.\nThis instance of the FACET-II Program Advisory Committee (PA
 C) November 3-5\, 2026. The PAC is chaired by Edda Gschwendtner (CERN) and
  is asked to:\n\nEvaluate the merit and the feasibility of new and updated
  proposals\nEvaluate the progress made by experiments that received beam t
 ime in FY25/FY26\nAssess plans and priorities for the upcoming experimenta
 l operations in FY27\n\n \nGuidelines for new and updated proposals:\nTo 
 receive full consideration\, we ask that new and updated proposals be subm
 itted by Friday\, October 7\, 2024. As you develop your proposal\, we enco
 urage you to coordinate with us to ensure the best match between your requ
 ests and current or future capabilities at FACET-II. Recommendations from 
 the PAC will be used to guide priorities for run time scheduling\, as well
  as for developing and introducing facility improvement plans.\nDetails of
