Description
As we enter the high luminosity LHC era and planning for high precision future lepton colliders, increasing precision makes loop induced BSM effects increasingly relevant, particularly in the Higgs sector. I will discuss recent progress in NLO calculations in the SMEFT for electroweak precision and Higgs physics with applications at the HL-LHC and FCC-ee. I will demonstrate the impact of higher order corrections both at the level of individual operators with an emphasis on the Higgs self-coupling, as well as on patterns set by simple UV completions.
